MAHE signs MoU with SCL Chandigarh to Catalyse India’s Rapidly Expanding Electronics Manufacturing and Innovation Ecosystem
2 min readBengaluru, 25thMay 2023: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal and Semiconductor Laboratory (SCL), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to set up a thriving semiconductor and show design and innovation setting that can allow India to turn into a serious worldwide centre for electronics manufacturing and design. The MoU was signed by Commander (Dr) Anil Rana, Director, Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) (a constituent unit of MAHE, Manipal), and Mr Vikas Trikha, Director of Semiconductor Laboratory (SCL), Mohali. The signing ceremony came about on May 17, 2023, at Mohali.
Addressing the viewers on the signing ceremony, Commander (Dr) Anil Rana, Director, Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), said, “The educational programmes of MAHE are designed to assist college students turn into international residents.
