Nestle India and Agastya International Foundation sets up science laboratories and libraries

Nestlé India in collaboration with Agastya International Foundation has expanded Project Jigyasa to 5 extra colleges in Samalkha district of Haryana. As part of the mission, Nestlé India will set up a science laboratory and library in every of those colleges. Project Jigyasa, which is part of the flagship Nestlé Healthy Kids program was launched in 2022 to unfold science schooling and promote a tradition of studying books amongst the youngsters.

Commenting on the growth of the mission,Mr. Sanjay Khajuria, Head, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Nestlé India stated, “We urge college students to assume creatively, keep conscious, and be curious. Project Jigyasa is a vital step in that course, the place we set up science laboratories and libraries in colleges, serving to youngsters perceive complicated ideas by way of experiential studying and studying. We consider steps taken as a part of Project Jigyasa would encourage a way of enquiry and widen the horizon of scholars.”

Project Jigyasa began with a pilot mission in two colleges in Ponda, Goa. Since its launch final 12 months, the mission has grown from energy to energy and has contributed to improvement of scholars throughout 15 colleges. Of these two colleges are in Ponda in Goa, six colleges in Tahliwal in Himachal Pradesh, and seven colleges in Samalkha in Haryana.
