JIS Group to start West Bengal’s First Private College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Historic Collaboration with the West Bengal Government

Kolkata, November 23, 2023:JIS Group academic initiatives has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of West Bengal to start West Bengal’s first ever self-financed veterinary school ‘JIS College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (JISCOVAS) at Mogra, West Bengal.

Vivek Kumar, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of West Bengal, Department of Animal Resources Development exchanged copies of the MoU at the Bengal Global Business Summit 2023. The MoU signifies the collaborative spirit between the non-public sector and the authorities for the larger profit of skilled schooling and infrastructure in the state. The Veterinary Medical College, a testomony to JIS Group’s dedication to excellence, represents an bold challenge alongside with the authorities with an estimated price range ranging between 200-250 crore INR.
