Indian veteran Tennis star Rohan Bopanna and his Australian doubles companion Matthew Ebden created history on Saturday once they clinched their maiden Australian Open title.

The Indo-Australian duo gained the title by beating Italy’s Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori in straight units 7-6, 7-5.

Bopanna grew to become the oldest-ever man to win a maiden Grand Slam title.

The Australian Open courtroom witnessed one other chivalrous efficiency earlier within the day when Aryna Sabalenka defended her title in model by beating China’s Zheng Qinwen.

Sabalenka capped her glowing type at Melbourne Park with a convincing 6-3, 6-2 victory in 76 minutes.
