IIT Guwahati partners with Samagra Shiksha Assam to host Mega Science and Maths Olympiad

With the goal of fostering scientific curiosity and mathematical proficiency amongst college students within the state, the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha Assam, organised a large Science and Maths Olympiad, one of many largest within the nation.

Over 1.14 lakh college students from 3,828 faculties throughout Assam participated on this mega occasion, which aimed to nurture expertise, promote important considering, and improve problem-solving skills among the many college students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) topics.

The goals of the Olympiad are

In line with its holistic improvement method, IIT Guwahati collaborates intently with the Government of Assam on varied initiatives. One such collaboration is with Samagra Shiksha Assam below the Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan, leading to initiatives just like the Science and Maths Olympiad.
