Who is Pragya Misra?
At 39 years old, Pragya Misra has held various high-profile roles. Most recently, she served as the Director of Public Affairs at Truecaller, a leading contact verification company, where her responsibilities included fostering relationships with governmental bodies, investors, stakeholders, and media entities.Prior to her tenure at Truecaller, Misra was at Meta Platforms, where she spearheaded WhatsApp’s campaign against misinformation in 2018. Notably, she held the distinction of being WhatsApp’s first employee in India.
Misra holds an MBA from the International Management Institute, complemented by a degree in commerce from the University of Delhi. Additionally, Misra’s academic pursuits have taken her to prestigious institutions such as the London School of Economics , where she pursued a Diploma in Bargaining and Negotiations.
Misra is also is an avid podcaster, hosting the Pragyaan Podcast, where she talks about topics ranging from meditation to consciousness. She is also a Heartfulness Meditation Trainer and boasts a passion for golf, having represented India in numerous international tournaments from 1998 to 2007.
