WATCH: Woman saves elderly man by performing CPR at Delhi Airport
2 min readIt was a stitch in time for a fortunate elderly man, who regained his pulses, after a woman performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on him at the Delhi Airport recently.
A video of the same has now gone viral on the Internet. The woman is receiving praise on social media for her quick thinking, which led to the man’s survival.
The video showed the woman, who is purportedly a doctor, performing CPR on the man who is lying on the floor. According to a tweet, the man suffered a heart attack at Terminal 2 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The woman frantically pumped the man’s chest while calling for airport staff. Another video showed the man regaining his senses as the doctor continues to perform CPR.
Impressed with her efforts, an X user offered the woman INR 20,000.
This young doctor definitely saved the life of this gentleman. T2 Delhi Airport.
Such a perseverance in doing CPR is needed.
