The first Aadhar card was issued in India in the year 2010. Till now, about 90 percent of the population in India has an Aadhar card. Many rules have been changed in India regarding Aadhar Card. Recently, a new rule has also been issued for Aadhar Card.
Earlier, the Aadhaar card enrollment ID could be used if the Aadhaar card was not available. The enrollment ID is issued after applying for an Aadhaar card. But now it cannot be used for some purposes.

Now Aadhaar Card Enrollment ID cannot be used to get a PAN Card made in India. If you do not have an Aadhaar Card, then you cannot get a PAN Card made using the Enrollment ID. Along with this, earlier Aadhar Card Enrollment ID could be used to file ITR. But now Enrollment ID cannot be used to file ITR.
