Aryan, student of Orchids The International School, Sector 56 campus wins Bronze at Delhi State Shooting ChampionshipGurugram, August 08, 2024: Aryan, a Grade 9 student of Orchids The International School, Sector 56, Gurugram campus, has made his school proud by winning Bronze medal in the Sub-youth and Youth NR categories at the 39th Delhi State Shooting Championship. The event was organized by the Delhi State Rifle Association and it took place at the prestigious Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi.

The championship aimed to identify the best shooters across Delhi and provide a platform to find talent for pre-national and national level competitions. Aryan’s exceptional performance earned him 3rd position across Delhi, showcasing his skill and dedication in shooting.

Aryan expressed the joy and gratitude for the support he received, stating, “I am delighted to have won Bronze medals in such a prestigious competition. I am grateful to my coach, Deepak Dubey, my parents and my school for their immense support and encouragement. This achievement has motivated me to work even harder for the upcoming pre-national and national trials.”

The event saw participation from members of the Delhi State Rifle Association, with competitors from every district of Delhi. The competition was fierce, as only the participants from Delhi were eligible to compete, ensuring a high level of talent and determination.

Aryan was trained under Deepak Dubey, coach of the National Junior team, and has now earned eligibility to participate in the pre-national and national level trials. The pre-national event is scheduled for September, followed by the national event in November.
