Banks will remain closed in all states on Saturday, August 24 as it is the fourth Saturday of the month. As per the rules of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Apart from this, banks are also closed on Sundays.
Bank holiday on 25 August:
Banks will remain closed in all states on August 25 as it is Sunday.
Will banks be closed on 26 August?
Banks will be closed in some states on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami (Shravan Vad-8) Krishna Jayanti on Monday, August 26. In states where there is a holiday on Monday, banks will remain closed for three consecutive days.

Banks will remain open on Monday in Tripura, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, Nagaland, New Delhi, and Goa, so there will be no long weekend here.

There will be a three-day long holiday for banks in Gujarat, Odisha, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh and Srinagar.
