Rajasthan Vidhansabha Speaker Vasudev Devnani has declared a holiday on November 1 in the Vidhansabha Secretariat in view of the 5-day festival of Deepawali.

This decision was taken on the request of the delegation of Vidhansabha Officer and Employees Union. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the Vidhansabha employees and their families due to this announcement. Under this, school-college offices will also remain closed.
Devnani said that this special leave has been taken in the interest of the Vidhan Sabha employees so that they can celebrate the festival of Deepawali with their families with intimacy and enthusiasm. Special Secretary of Vidhan Sabha Bharat Bhushan Sharma issued orders in this regard on Tuesday.
Expressing happiness over the announcement of the holiday, the Vidhan Sabha employees thanked Speaker Devnani. They said that now they will be able to enjoy celebrating this holy festival of Deepawali with their family and village. The special holiday will also give the employees going out of Jaipur an opportunity to take full advantage of the festival.
