Passport Services: Now you can get your passport made near your home, you will not have to make rounds of the office

Now people in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh will not have to visit the passport office. Now, through online slot booking, the passport mobile van will arrive outside the applicants’ home at the scheduled time. In this van, online checking of all documents and biometric process will be completed at home.

This new facility was launched by Regional Passport Officer Shailendra Kumar Singh under the Regional Passport Office located at Priyadarshini Nagar. Through this mobile van, passport services will be made available to applicants from 13 districts at their homes. People of Aonla and Sambhal will especially benefit from this service, and in future it will be expanded to other areas as well.

In the initial phase, 40 appointments will be scheduled for the mobile van on each working day, and this number may be increased in future as per the demand. People interested in getting a passport can go online and book a slot on the website passportindia.gov.in.

Regional Passport Officer Shailendra Kumar Singh said, “This passport mobile van service will prove to be very beneficial for the applicants. Now people will be able to get their passports made near their homes.”
