Ola Electric launches Roadster X series e-motorcycles

Ola Electric launched its Roadster X series of electric motorcycles on February 5, 2025. The Roadster X is available in 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh, and 4.5kWh battery options, priced at ₹74,999, ₹84,999, and ₹94,999 respectively. These models offer ranges of 140 km, 196 km, and 252 km (IDC), respectively. The Roadster X+ comes in 4.5kWh and 9.1kWh variants, priced at ₹1,04,999 and ₹1,54,999 respectively. The 9.1kWh version uses 4680 Bharat cells. The Roadster X+ models offer ranges of 252 km and 501 km (IDC), respectively.

The Roadster X+ 9.1kWh variant utilizes 4680 Bharat cells. All models come with a 3-year/50,000 km warranty. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in mid-March.

The Roadster X models feature a 7kW mid-drive motor with top speeds of 105 km/h (2.5kWh) and 118 km/h (3.5kWh and 4.5kWh). Range figures are 140 km (2.5kWh), 196 km (3.5kWh), and 252 km (4.5kWh) (IDC). Acceleration from 0-40 km/h is 3.4 seconds (2.5kWh) and 3.1 seconds (3.5kWh and 4.5kWh).

The Roadster X+ models have an 11kW motor with a top speed of 125 km/h and 0-40 km/h acceleration in 2.7 seconds. Range figures are 252 km (4.5kWh) and 501 km (9.1kWh) (IDC).

Features across the Roadster X series include a 4.3″ LCD screen with USB, mid-drive motor with integrated MCU, and MoveOS 5. The series also introduces flat cables and a patented brake-by-wire technology with single ABS.

Ola Electric also provided updates on its other models: S1 Pro+, S1 Pro, S1 X, S1 X+, Gig, and S1 Z series scooters. Details on pricing and availability for these models were included in the announcement.
