Ashok Leyland initiates delivery of electric trucks to BillionE • EVreporter

Ashok Leyland, a part of the Hinduja Group and a commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, has started delivering electric trucks to Billion Electric Mobility, a member of Group BillionE. This marks the beginning of deliveries for the 180 electric vehicles ordered by BillionE, which include BOSS 19T and 14 T Electric Trucks and the AVTR 55T Electric Trucks.

The vehicles were flagged off by Mr. Shenu Agarwal, MD & CEO of Ashok Leyland, and Mr. Kartikey Hariyani, Founder & CEO of Billion E-Mobility & ChargeZone, in the presence of Dr. N Saravanan, CTO, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, President – M&HCV, and Mr. Ganesh Mani, Chief Operating Officer of Ashok Leyland, along with Mr. Sanjeev Kulkarni, CTO of BillionE, Mr. Ravindra Mohan, COO of ChargeZone, and Mr. Mustafa Wajid, Member of the Board, BillionE.

The vehicles are designed with features like Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS), IP67-rated battery protection, simultaneous dual-gun charging, and compatibility with the Common Charging Standard 2 (CCS2), intended to enhance performance, safety, and operational efficiency.
