Bajaj Auto Launches New Chetak 35 Series Electric Scooters: Check The Details You Need To Know
2 min readBajaj Auto has today launched the updated version of Chetak EV scooters in India under the latest 35 series. The Chetak 35 series includes the Chetak 3501, 3502 and 3503 models, and the current variants will be phased out slowly.
The prices of the variants are as below:
Chetak 3501: Rs. 1,27 lakh
Chetak 3502: Rs 1.2 lakh
Chetak 3503: To be announced soon
What are the updates
The Chetak’s most important upgrade will be its battery, which will be relocated beneath the floorboard to allow room for storage beneath the seats. Furthermore, new cells will be put into the battery, increasing range and performance.
Additionally, another big change is going to be the frame. Bajaj went back to the drawing board for improvement, reworking the frame of the Chetak to give it a 25mm greater wheelbase.
In terms of features, the TFT instrument cluster has been updated to display entire maps rather than turn-by-turn navigation. The scooter also comes with specific software that allows you to follow the vehicle, limit the Chetak’s top speed, and much more. Other characteristics include Chetak’s traditional design language and all-metal body, a single-sided suspension at both ends, a disc brake in the front, alloy wheels, LED lighting, tactile switchgear, and more.
The newly announced Chetak variations are now available for booking, with delivery scheduled to begin at the end of December.
