Furious Ola Electric customer smashes scooter outside showroom in viral video

1 min read

A video has surfaced online showing a furious Ola Electric customer destroying his scooter with a hammer outside an Ola showroom. The video has quickly gone viral, sparking widespread attention and debate on social media.

The customer’s anger reportedly stemmed from a hefty Rs 90,000 service bill issued just a month after he purchased the vehicle. In the video, the man, dressed in a white T-shirt and blue jeans, can be seen repeatedly smashing the scooter, which is lying on the ground, in front of the showroom. His frustration is palpable as others join him, taking turns to batter the scooter until it is reduced to a wreck.

The person recording the incident narrates in the background, explaining the customer’s frustration: “This customer bought an Ola electric scooter a month ago, and the service center handed him a Rs 90,000 bill. In frustration, he smashed his scooter in front of the showroom.”

This incident follows recent criticism from comedian Kunal Kamra, who targeted Ola Electric and its CEO Bhavish Aggarwal for what he described as inadequate after-sales services.

Ola Electric has not yet responded to the incident.
