Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Spy Shots Reveal Production-Ready Design

2 min read

The latest and clearest images of the much-anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 have emerged online, showcasing a model that appears close to production readiness. While the bike may not officially debut until 2026, it is currently referred to internally as Project R2G.

These recent spy shots, captured in Southern Europe, provide a detailed look at the Himalayan 750. Notably, the bike features a 19-17 inch spoke wheel setup, supported by adjustable upside-down forks at the front, and potentially an adjustable monoshock at the rear. However, it remains uncertain whether these features will make it to the production version. The motorcycle also includes a dual disc braking setup at the front, marking a first for Royal Enfield motorcycles, similar to the braking hardware seen on the upcoming next-generation Interceptor.

Moving to the engine, the Himalayan 750 is expected to house a 750cc twin-cylinder unit. This larger engine is anticipated to build on Royal Enfield’s existing 650cc twin, which currently delivers 47 bhp and 52 Nm of torque on the Interceptor, and 56.5 Nm on the Bear 650. The upgraded displacement should provide an increase in power of approximately 5-7 bhp.

In terms of design, the Himalayan maintains its signature silhouette, but with a more refined and modern look leaning towards sports touring. The traditional jerry can holders have been substituted with stylish fairings connecting the fuel tank to the headlamp. Equipped with a tall windscreen and ample bash plate, the Himalayan 750 is clearly designed for both touring and off-roading adventures. Additionally, it appears to feature enhancements over the existing Himalayan 450, including a new, larger TFT display and full LED lighting.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is slated for launch in 2026, and it is expected to be positioned as the flagship model within its lineup.
