Yamaha launches upgraded version of Ray ZR

Hyderabad: India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd., a renowned two wheeler brand has launched the enhanced version of its popular scooter model RayZR. The Yamaha RayZR Street Rally an addition to its scooter portfolio as part of the company’s ‘The Call of the Blue’ brand campaign. The scooter, now available in an all-new Cyber Green color. The model also retains its existing color options, Ice Fluo-Vermillion (exclusive to Blue Square Showrooms) and Matte Black. This refreshed variant features the addition of an ‘Answer Back’ function and an LED Daytime Running Light (DRL), adding convenience and improved visibility.

Eishin Chihana, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies, expressed Yamaha’s excitement about the new RayZR Street Rally. “This scooter is perfect for young adventurers who seek a tough, sporty design with the utility of a scooter. The upgraded version not only delivers superior quality and global production standards but also redefines the riding experience for our target audience,” he said.

The RayZR Street Rally’s ‘Answer Back’ function allows riders to locate their scooter in crowded areas by triggering flashing blinkers and a buzzer through a mobile app. The LED DRL enhances the scooter’s aesthetics while improving safety on the road.

The new variant showcases a dual-tone seat design and updated styling elements, reinforcing the scooter’s sporty and rugged appeal. With a focus on young adventurers, Yamaha aims to offer a product that blends a motorcycle-like build with the utility of a scooter.

The RayZR Street Rally is powered by a 125cc Fi Blue Core engine with Hybrid Power Assist, designed to offer enhanced performance and fuel efficiency. The air-cooled, fuel-injected engine is paired with Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) for smoother and quieter starts. Other notable features include 21 liters of under-seat storage, E20 fuel compatibility, front telescopic suspension, side stand engine cut-off switch, and a fully digital instrument cluster with Y-Connect Bluetooth connectivity.

Priced at Rs. 98,130 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the RayZR Street Rally continues Yamaha’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction in the scooter segment.
