Five Must-Know Features Boss Mode
Kia’s second MPV called ‘Clavis’ is ready to come out, launching on 8th May. The Clavis will feature a host of segment-first features, and following are the five features that you must remember.
The Carens top trim models are equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment system while the mid trims receive an 8-inch screen. The new Clavis will have a tremendous 12.3-inch touchscreen display, the largest of its kind, creating an in-cabin technological experience that is first in its class. The new Kia Clavis boasts a big screen and will be equipped with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard. It will also have a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, just like the Syros, and thus will be a class-leading addition to the MPV market.
Pioneering new territory, the Clavis is the newest Kia to incorporate Level 2 ADAS, making significant strides in safety—a move placing it in just a handful of models in the lineup with this cutting-edge technology. The Sonet gets a Level 1 ADAS. The site will announce the introduction of the ADAS suite with forward collision avoidance aid, adaptive cruise, blind spot collision, lane keep and departure warning, etc., on the Clavis.
Sunroofs is what Indians love, and that is exactly what they will get with Kia giving Clavis a panoramic sunroof. In comparison with Carens, this will be a big step-up, featuring a single-panel sunroof. The panoramic roof provides an airy feeling in the cabin with a lot of natural light that comes in.
Speak about convenience elevated to a whole new level. The Clavis should provide the Boss Mode, whereby the passenger at the second row can customize the distance of the co-driver seat from the rear and also tweak the leg space.
Dual zone climate control is also a comfortable feature for the front passenger and the driver since they can both personally adjust the temperature as per their liking. This is a big improvement from the Carens’ base air conditioning system.
