Honda Gold Wing 50th Anniversary Edition Unveiled with Upgrades

Honda has introduced a special edition of the Gold Wing to mark the motorcycle’s 50th anniversary. The commemorative edition retains the same mechanical specifications while featuring cosmetic updates and additional features.

The anniversary model sports a new Eternal Gold paint scheme, paired with Bordeaux Red Metallic accents. The design remains largely unchanged apart from this exclusive color combination.

Honda has made Android Auto and Apple CarPlay standard on this edition, enhancing connectivity options. Additionally, the bike is equipped with improved speakers for better audio quality. A unique welcome message appears on the screen when the ignition is turned on, displaying the year the Gold Wing was first launched.

Honda has made no modifications to the engine or transmission. The Gold Wing 50th Anniversary Edition continues to be powered by the same 1,833cc, liquid-cooled, flat-six engine. The motor delivers 124 hp and 170 Nm of torque, maintaining the bike’s long-standing reputation for refined performance and highway comfort.

Currently, the special edition is available in select international markets. While Honda has not confirmed an India launch, limited units may be introduced in the country, given the motorcycle’s cult following among touring enthusiasts.

The standard Gold Wing is priced at a premium in global markets, and the special edition is expected to carry a slight price increase. In India, the Gold Wing competes with other high-end touring motorcycles in the premium segment.
