Hyundai unveils Creta Electric SUV with new design and EV features

Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) has launched the Hyundai Creta Electric, its first electric SUV tailored for the Indian market. The introduction of the Creta Electric is accompanied by a TV commercial titled “India is now Ready; Electric is now Creta,” emphasizing the readiness for electric mobility.
Pixelated Design: A pixelated front grille with an integrated charging port, along with a pixelated lower bumper, rear bumper, and LED tail lamps.
Active Air Flaps (AAF): Enhances airflow, cooling, and aerodynamic performance.
Aerodynamic Enhancements: R17 Aero Alloy Wheels and Low Rolling Resistance (LRR) tyres improve efficiency and range.
Performance:
Acceleration: Reaches 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds (Long Range).
Battery Options:
51.4 kWh (Long Range) offering a 473 km range.
42 kWh providing a 390 km range.
Charging Capabilities:
DC Fast Charging: Charges from 10% to 80% in 58 minutes.
AC Home Charging (11kW): Fully charges from 10% to 100% in 4 hours.
Advanced Technology:
Vehicle-to-Load (V2L): Powers external devices both inside and outside the vehicle.
i-Pedal: Allows one-pedal driving for acceleration, deceleration, and stopping.
Shift-by-Wire System: Simplifies gear control.
Digital Key: Provides vehicle access and start using a smartphone or smartwatch.

Available in 4 variants: Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence.
Comes in 8 monotone and 2 dual-tone color options, including 3 matte finishes.
