Is Tata Altroz CNG Coming With an AMT — All You Need to Know
Tata Motors recently launched the facelift version of Altroz that has three fuel options – petrol, diesel, and CNG – from its outgoing model. Interestingly, it has now introduced a new AMT option with the petrol engine, making its automatic version more affordable.
But why is Tata not offering AMT with Altroz’s CNG version, even though it already offers an AMT option with the Tiago and Tigor CNG?
Despite having the technology, Tata Motors is not offering AMT with a CNG version because it wants to boost the sales of the premium versions. Tata Motors is the only automaker in the country to offer an automatic transmission option with CNG powertrains in the country.
Price
The new facelift model of Altroz is priced between ₹6.89 lakh and ₹11.49 lakh. The base variant of the new model is ₹24,000 costlier than the outgoing model.
