PUNE: Bharat Tripathi, the celebrated Indian artist renowned for bringing ancient myths and legends to life through his captivating and vibrant artwork, has concluded a highly successful exhibition at the Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery. Held from July 24th to 28th, the event showcased Tripathi’s profound connection to Indian mythology and his mastery of figurative abstract forms, drawing an enthusiastic response from art aficionados and critics alike.

The exhibition provided a unique visual experience, highlighting Tripathi’s dedication to preserving and reviving the timeless tales of Indian mythology. His artwork, which captures the essence of gods, goddesses, epic battles, and legendary heroes, embodies his belief that religious art and stories represent the pinnacle of artistic and narrative expression. Through simplistic yet powerful forms, Tripathi conveyed themes that resonate deeply with his audience, showcasing his profound knowledge and depth on the subject. Art connoisseurs and guests from various walks of life attended the exhibition and were captivated by the mesmerizing artwork on display.

Mr. Gautam Bambawale( IFS, retd ) who inaugurated the exhibition said “Bharat Tripathi was once part of the Indian Revenue Services, but he left to follow his passion for art. I encourage the youth to not just stop at their jobs, but to also seek out their true passions and have the drive to pursue them.”

Mr. Tripathi expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support and enthusiasm from the attendees. “This exhibition was a labor of love, and seeing such a heartfelt response from everyone reaffirms my commitment to bringing these ancient stories to life. I hope my work continues to inspire and connect people to the rich tapestry of Indian mythology,” he said.

The four-day event, which featured a classical vocal recital by Mrs. Urvashi Shah and an engaging storytelling session by Mr. Chetan Shetty was greatly appreciated by the audience.
