We are committed to the state, have paid claims worth Rs 1900 cr in FY24, and in the last 5 years settled claims worth Rs 7000 cr.

Innovative Home Healthcare Service in Maharashtra
Reaffirming its commitment to innovation and convenience, Star Health Insurance has launched its Home Healthcare Service in Mumbai and Pune as part of a nationwide initiative spanning over 50 cities. This service enables customers to access healthcare in the comfort of their homes, ensuring faster claims settlement and ease of access with a service designed to provide affordable and high-quality care.
Maharashtra has shown a strong demand for this service, with 40% of the total Home Healthcare calls received in this fiscal originating from the state. Currently, Star Health’s Home Healthcare Service is available in 85% of locations across Maharashtra, and the company is expanding this offering into rural areas to further enhance accessibility and meet the healthcare needs of underserved communities.
Wellness Initiatives to Promote Preventive Healthcare
On World Osteoporosis Day (October 19, 2024), Star Health is organizing bone density test camps in Pune, aimed at raising awareness about Osteoporosis and encouraging early detection. The screenings will be conducted at key healthcare institutions, including Saishree Hospital in Pimpri Chinchwad, Lokmanya Hospital in Swargate, and the Sancheti Institute for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation in Hadapsar.
Another wellness initiative undertaken by Star Health Insurance is the Mind Health Program. This initiative is designed to empower individuals in managing various mental health challenges, including stress, anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and eating disorders.
