PUNE: With changing times, there is a constant change in technology, machinery, manpower, productivity, markets, customer mindset, and more. This can make an organization feel stuck in a certain orbit. To grow, the organization needs to break through this orbit by adapting flexibility in policies and procedures” asserted Dr Anand Deshpande-Founder, Chairman and Managing Director- of Persistent Systems while speaking during ‘The Senate Talk Show’ and the Book launch of ’50 Dilemmas’ written by renowned author and Managing Director of The Senate Business Centre Vikrant Vartak.
‘The Senate Talk Show’ was hosted by Vikrant Vartak at The Senate Business Centre, Vartak Heritage, DP Road. As a part of the talk show, ’50 Dilemmas’ a book written by Vikrant Vartak was also released by Anand Deshpande, Chitale Group Managing Partners Sanjay Chitale and Indraneel Chitale, Dr. Jayant Abhyankar of Sharangdhar Pharmaceuticals in the presence of Neeraj Kapoor of Bandhan Mutual Fund, Khyatee Nigam of BMW Bavaria Motors.
Speaking during the Talk Show Dr Deshpande informed the audience about his luck of being at the right place at the right time when he established Persistent Systems as exporting software was a new concept then and that worked in his favour.
“Any industry can progress if they do not emulate the success mantra of any one organization as every organization faces different challenges in turn changing the success parameters. A new brand must first create credibility to make steady progress. This is one of the success mantras we followed at Persistent Systems and earned the trust of customers across the globe,” he said further.
Dr Deshpande also pointed out that every business starts small, and it is the consensus between the founder and the management team that can boost its growth. To reach newer circles of commercial success, he said that it is imperative that founders look at the future, constantly study markets, keep direct contact with customers, and add skilled young manpower with a good management and administration team.
He concluded by adding that for any company, the graph of progress should be elevated and not stagnant and this can be achieved by adopting innovative schemes, changing policies and strategies whenever necessary, continuous self-testing, focusing on practical and professional thinking, and a constant reminder that the success of any business is a team effort and not a one-person achievement.
The Senate Talk Show was moderated by Vikrant Vartak while Indraneel Chitale presented the vote of thanks.
