Suzuki Motorcycle India Unveils OBD-2B Compliant Avenis Standard Variant
GURUGRAM: Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, today announced the launch of the new OBD-2B compliant Standard variant, the Suzuki Avenis. This new variant enhances accessibility to the Avenis range while offering a cleaner and efficient riding experience in line with the latest emission norms.

The new Suzuki Avenis Standard variant is powered by a 124.3cc, all-aluminium 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine. It delivers 8.7 PS @ 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm @ 5,500 rpm and is built on Suzuki’s SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance)technology to ensure a balance of power, performance, and fuel efficiency.
The scooter features an advanced, sporty design with motorcycle-inspired styling and edgy graphics. The large and easy-to-read modern digital meter displays essential riding information such as battery voltage, oil change indicator, digital clock, dual trip meter, engine temperature indicator, fuel gauge, an eco-mode indicator, and an instantaneous fuel consumption meter.
Practical features include a bright LED headlamp and sporty LED tail lamp, an integrated engine start and stop switch with Suzuki Easy Start System, side stand interlock, sporty muffler cover, comfortable and sporty step seat, sporty split grab rails, and long & wide floorboard. Additional conveniences like a USB-equipped front box, front rack for storage, one push central locking & shuttered key system, external hinge-type fuel cap, and 21.8L under-seat storage space enhance daily usability.
The new Suzuki Avenis Standard variant is available at all Suzuki dealerships across India in four colour options: Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White, Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Mira Red, Champion Yellow No. 2 / Glossy Sparkle Black, and Glossy Sparkle Black. The scooter is priced at INR 91,400/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
