Taiwanese investors delegation hold talks with Karnataka govt, keen on bus conversion to electricity

Karnataka’s Large and Medium Industries Minister M.B. Patil on Friday stated that Taiwanese corporations have expressed curiosity to collaborate with the state Karnataka in changing diesel-run BMTC buses to electrical buses.

Briefing reporters after a high-level delegation from Taiwan met him right here to talk about industrial collaboration, he stated: “Converting the diesel-powered Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) buses to electrical buses would allow us to take a step ahead in direction of sustainability”.

Noting that Taiwan-based corporations have the required experience to rework diesel automobiles into electrical automobiles, he added that such a expertise is the necessity of the hour.
