New Vande Bharat: Now new Vande Bharat will run for this route, know the fare and timing
3 min readThere is no room in all trains between Patna and Delhi during Diwali and Chhath. In such a situation, the railway has tried to provide relief to the passengers trying to get tickets by releasing the schedule of a special Vande Bharat train between Patna and Delhi for the first time.
The train will cover the journey from Delhi to Patna in about 11 and a half hours. However, passengers will have to complete the journey from Delhi to Patna by sitting, because the train running as a special train will not be Sleeper Vande Bharat. Sleeper Vande Bharat is currently in the trial phase and it is expected that after the trial is completed, that train will be made regular in place of this special Vande Bharat.

The Railway Ministry has issued a letter to run the Delhi Patna Vande Bharat Express train as a special train on a trial basis, stopping at Ara and Buxar Junction under the Railway Division. The train will leave from Delhi on October 30 and November 1, 3 and 6 and from Patna to Delhi on October 2, 4 and 7 after October 31. In between, the train has been given stoppages at Ara, Buxar, DDU, Prayagraj and Kanpur.
The distance will be covered in 11 hours 35 minutes, read the timing and stoppages
It will depart from New Delhi at around 8:25 in the morning, stopping at Kanpur, Prayagraj, DDU Buxar, it will arrive at Ara Junction at 7:10 in the evening and will complete its journey in Patna at 8 in the evening. Whereas, it will depart from Patna at 7:30 in the morning and reach Ara Junction at 8:7 in the morning and Delhi at 7 in the evening.
Railways have announced several special trains for those coming to Bihar including Ara during Diwali and Chhath. 283 festival special trains are being run on different routes to control the crowd in trains during Diwali-Chhath. Railway Ministry has announced to run special Vande Bharat trains to provide relief to those coming and going to Bihar including Ara.
How much is the fare
In Vande Bharat, you may have to travel from Delhi to Patna sitting, but the fare will be more than the fare of sleeping in third AC in Tejas Express. The fare of SC chair car coach in Vande Bharat Special train is Rs 2575. Whereas for AC Executive Chair Car you will have to pay Rs 4655 per ticket. This includes four breakfasts and meals. In Tejas, you have to pay Rs 2485 for a third AC berth while travelling from Patna to Delhi.
