Stock market will remain closed for 12 days in November
The stock market is going to remain closed for a total of 12 days in November and the reason for this is festivals and special holidays. On Friday, 1st November, the stock market was closed on the occasion of Diwali. After this, on Friday, 15th November, the stock market will remain closed due to Guru Nanak Jayanti. After this, on Wednesday, 20th November, the stock market will remain closed on the day of Maharashtra assembly elections. At the same time, a total of 12 days of stock market holiday are being included in November, including all Saturdays and Sundays of the month.
Holiday notification issued on NSE
In a notification issued by the exchange on NSE, it was said that “The trading holiday will continue on the upcoming Wednesday, 20 November, in view of the assembly elections in Maharashtra.” For information, let us tell you that voting will take place in the 288-member assembly on November 20 and counting of votes will take place on November 23.
