Vande Bharat Train: Indian Railways has modified the schedule of New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express. This is India’s second semi-high-speed train. The train was flagged off by Home Minister Amit Shah on October 3, 2019 and is at present being maintained and operated by the Northern Railway Zone.
The time table of New Delhi Vande Bharat Express (22440) at Jammu Tawi and Katra stations has been modified from March 18. Whereas earlier Vande Bharat Express from Katra used to run at 3 pm, from March 18 this train will run at 2.55 pm. This train will attain Jammu Tawi station at 4.08 pm as an alternative of 4.13 pm and can depart from there at 4.10 pm as an alternative of 4.15 pm.
Train No. 22439/22440 New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express will run six days every week in each instructions besides Wednesday. This new time table shall be efficient from March 21, 2024. At current the train runs on all days of the week besides Tuesday. New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express covers the distance of 655 km in 8 hours.
