Adani Power Ltd (APL) announced Q2 FY26 operating revenue of ₹13,106.34 crore, reflecting steady growth against ₹12,949.12 crore recorded in Q2 FY25. This performance was driven by increased power sales, with consolidated volume rising 7.4% year-on-year to 23.7 billion units despite weather-related demand challenges.
The company maintained stable quarterly EBITDA at ₹6,001 crore, matching Q2 FY25 results despite absorbing additional operational costs from recent acquisitions.
During the quarter, APL secured new long-term agreements totaling 2,400 MW with Bihar Discom, 1,600 MW with Madhya Pradesh Discom, and 570 MW with Karnataka Discom (finalized by October ’25).
The acquisition of 600 MW Vidarbha Industries Power Limited through insolvency proceedings expanded APL’s operational capacity to 18,150 MW.
“Our operational resilience continues to deliver stable performance despite seasonal demand variations,” said SB Khyalia, CEO of Adani Power. “The recent 4.5 GW of long-term PPAs under the SHAKTI scheme accelerates our strategic expansion.”
Khyalia further noted: “Strong financials and liquidity position us to achieve our 42 GW capacity target by 2031-32. Equipment orders and land acquisition for the 23.7 GW expansion phase are complete, with project execution advancing rapidly.”
Short-term and merchant power sales grew significantly, with Q2 FY26 volumes reaching 5.7 BU (12.9% YoY increase) and H1 FY26 volumes at 11.4 BU (10.5% YoY growth).
“We remain committed to supporting India’s growing demand for reliable, sustainable power solutions,” Khyalia concluded.
