11 percent DA hike announced

The government has announced an 11 percent DA hike for thousands of employees and pensioners. Dearness allowance has been increased for employees receiving the fifth pay scale. Earlier, the government had increased the dearness allowance by two percent under the seventh pay scale, which was implemented from January 1.

Now the dearness allowance of the employees coming under the fifth pay scale has been increased by 11%. With this, it has increased from 455 to 466%. Information about this decision of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Government was given by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. The proposal has been approved by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari to approve the proposal of the Finance Department.

This step of the government is considered important in the direction of reducing the financial burden of thousands of employees and pensioners of the state. Along with this, a big increase will be seen in the salary of the employees due to the increase of 11% in dearness allowance. It has been implemented from 1 January 2025.
