India Dec 11: F5 today announced a deepened partnership with NetApp, a leader in intelligent data infrastructure, to accelerate secure AI-driven data delivery and prepare organizations for the post-quantum cryptography era. This initiative extends the companies’ longstanding collaboration, targeting the urgent demand for high-performance, secure solutions tailored to AI workloads and S3 storage environments.
The integration of F5’s Application Delivery and Security Platform (ADSP) with NetApp’s data infrastructure for AI enables enterprises to achieve superior throughput, scale AI data delivery, and defend against next-generation cyber threats—including those emerging from quantum computing.
For AI applications, the combined solution optimizes large-scale dataset transfers through intelligent load balancing, traffic prioritization, and analytics. This ensures resilient, secure, and high-performance delivery of AI/ML workflows across NetApp’s enterprise-grade S3 storage. The collaboration also addresses “harvest now, decrypt later” threats by securing S3 data flows with minimal operational impact.

To mitigate this, F5 BIG-IP now supports hybrid key agreements and NIST-approved quantum-resistant algorithms for NetApp StorageGRID, enabling secure S3 communications resilient to quantum threats.
