Government directed to keep schools closed till further orders, all flights canceled till May 10

In border areas like Barmer, Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Sriganganagar, the government has ordered to close schools and Anganwadi centers till further orders. On the other hand, all flights from Kishangarh and Jodhpur airports have been canceled till May 10.

Considering the seriousness of the situation, not only schools but the leaves of state government employees have also been cancelled. They have been forbidden from leaving the headquarters. Along with this, fire brigade, hospital and social media monitoring have been put into active mode.
State government gave strict instructions:
The Rajasthan government and the Home Department have ordered the collectors of all border districts to remain on high alert. They have been asked to maintain constant coordination with all concerned agencies and the army. Apart from this:

- They have been asked to prepare an emergency plan including arrangements for shelters and generators
- Instructions to take immediate action on rumours and inflammatory content spreading on social media
- Adequate stock of food items and monitoring to prevent panic buying
- Preparations underway to keep evacuation plan in alert mode in villages adjoining the border
- Order to increase security by identifying the most sensitive places
The atmosphere is tense, but the administration is ready
These steps taken by the government show that the situation is not being taken lightly. However, people have been appealed not to pay attention to rumors and follow government guidelines.
