Government’s cabinet approved the transfer policy 2025-26, know what is special this time?

In Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi’s cabinet has approved the transfer policy for the year 2025-26 on Tuesday. State Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna has given information about the decisions taken in the cabinet meeting.
Minister Suresh Khanna said that this transfer policy generally has the same provisions which were applicable last year. This policy will be applicable for a month i.e. from 15 May to 15 June.

Special provisions made in this policy
He said that in this policy, such arrangements have been made that no post remains vacant in any way in aspirational districts and aspirational development blocks. In another decision, the Cabinet has approved the Uttar Pradesh Global Competence Center Policy-2024.
Competence centres being operated
Khanna said that Global Competence Centres (JCC) are being operated in various service areas including IT services, finance and accounting, human resources and customer support. He said that currently these capability centres in India have a strong presence in key areas.
These areas will get special benefits
He said that these also include the sectors of software and technology, banking, financial services and insurance, telecommunications and networking, media, entertainment and semiconductors, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment. He said that the establishment of GCC in Uttar Pradesh will have a significant impact on the economic growth and employment generation of the state and it will have special benefits in information technology services, consultancy and engineering.
It will help in developing cities
He said that these centres will help in developing tier one, tier two and tier three cities. Khanna said that under the policy, land subsidy, stamp duty exemption or reimbursement, capital subsidy, interest subsidy, recruitment subsidy, employee provident fund, talent development and skill promotion and intellectual property rights subsidy will be given. Apart from this, provisions for non-financial assistance have also been included in special circumstances. (With input from Bhasha)
