Mock drill districts List: After the Pahalgam terrorist attack, tension has increased a lot in India-Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Indian government has issued an order to conduct mock drills in 244 districts across the country tomorrow i.e. on 7 May.
After which preparations for mock drills are also going on across the country. The Union Home Ministry had released a list of civil defense districts in 2005. If the mock drill of civil defense is organized according to this list, then see below which places will be there.

What is the purpose of this mock drill
After the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan is repeatedly giving empty threats of war. Therefore, the central government is conducting mock drills to inform the citizens about what should be done in an emergency like war. Along with this, its main objective is to enable the state governments and administration to take effective steps in emergency situations. During the mock drill, the preparedness capacity of the concerned agencies will be tested. This will help in ensuring the safety of citizens.
