In today’s time, the trend of Unified Payment Interface (UPI) has increased a lot. UPI payment facility is available everywhere from paan shops to big showrooms. In such a situation, people now make even the biggest payments through UPI.
There is no hassle of keeping cash in it and it is a secure way of making payment. UPI facility has also started in foreign countries, due to which tourists going abroad do not have to face any kind of problems. At the same time, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is constantly making efforts to improve UPI user experience.

The new rule will be applicable from this day
In this sequence, another good news has come for UPI users. Actually, NPCI said in one of its circulars that from June 16, 2025, UPI transactions will become faster. In such a situation, whether someone wants to transfer money or check balance, it will be done in seconds. The National Payments Corporation of India said in a circular issued on April 26 that UPI users will now have to wait less in any transaction related activities.
The transaction process will be completed in 10 seconds
NPCI said that earlier UPI transaction related work used to take 30 seconds, now it will take only 10 seconds. In such a situation, user experience will be better and any transaction related work will be done in a jiffy. At the same time, if UPI payment was reversed for any reason, then one had to wait for 30 seconds, but now it will also take only 10 seconds. NPCI has instructed all payment service providers to make all necessary changes to implement this facility.
There will be no impact on the technical decline rate
NPCI said in the circular, “These changes are being made to further improve the user experience. All members will have to make necessary changes in their systems so that the response time is followed. Also, it has to be ensured that the change in response time does not affect the rate of Technical Decline (TD).”
Had to face problems many times last month
Let us tell you that in the past, UPI users had to face problems in making transactions. During this, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) wrote on its official social media platform, “NPCI is facing some technical problems, due to which some UPI transactions are failing. We are working to fix this problem as soon as possible and will keep you updated. We are sorry for the inconvenience.”
