Schools remained closed in Punjab a day after India retaliated to the Pahalgam terror attack. The Deputy Commissioner of Tarn Taran issued an order saying all schools in the district will remain closed from May 8 to 11.

In which districts schools are closed

According to information from officials, schools were closed in Ferozepur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Tarn Taran districts.

Officials said that in Ferozepur, schools have been ordered to remain closed for the next 72 hours till further orders. They said that in Fazilka too, schools will remain closed till further orders.

Schools in Jodhpur are closed till further orders

At the same time, in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, orders have been given to close all schools from today till further orders. According to the order, Jodhpur administration has declared holiday in all private and government schools and Anganwadis from today till further orders. The order has been issued by District Collector Gaurav Agarwal.
