Indonesia: Blast at nickel factory kills 13
1 min readAt least 13 employees died after an explosion rocked a Chinese-owned nickel factory in Indonesia on Sunday (December 24, 2023).
The explosion left 38 folks injured.
The incident passed off at a factory within the Morowali Industrial Park on the island of Sulawesi, reported CNN.
Morowali police spokesperson Ipda Hamid advised CNN affiliate CNN Indonesia that 13 folks had died at the scene, with a number of victims being rushed to close by hospitals for remedy.
Police have rushed to the spot after the explosion.
The injured persons are present process remedy in hospital.
