Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the nationwide service of the nation, was slapped with a nice after an air hostess reached Canada without a passport.

Sources advised ARY News that the air hostess was assigned to responsibility on flight PK-781 from Islamabad to Toronto when the unprecedented incident unfolded.

Avoiding the usual passport requirement, she travelled from Islamabad to Toronto by relying solely on PIA General Declaration paperwork.

The nationwide service imposed the nice following the breach after the flight attendant was allowed to reach in Canada without the required paperwork.

In a press release, the PIA spokesperson confirmed that the service has been fined $250 (69,883 Pakistani Rupee) for the incident, underscoring the seriousness of the violation. However, it denied stories suggesting that the air hostess supposed to hunt political asylum upon touchdown in Canada, reported Ary News.

Missing PIA air hostesses and cabin crew a recurring theme

More than 10 PIA air hostesses have gone ‘lacking’ in Canada in the previous two years.

Earlier on March 1, one other PIA cabin crew member went lacking in Canada, the nationwide airline spokesman confirmed to Ary News.

The flight steward was recognized as Jibran Baloch.

He was supposed to return again to PIA flight PK-782 in Toronto on February 29.

He didn’t flip up for work on the flight again to Pakistan.

Another feminine air hostess, who was recognized as Maryam Raza, additionally went lacking from a Canadian lodge.

After she went lacking, authorities searched her lodge room and her uniform was recovered with a message that learn: “Thank you, PIA.”
