A man has been arrested for allegedly attacking Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen in Copenhagen.

“Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen was hit by a man Friday night on Kultorvet [public square] in Copenhagen. The man was subsequently arrested,” the prime minister’s workplace mentioned as quoted by CNN.

The Prime Minister mentioned she was ‘shocked’ by the incident.

It continues to be not clear whether or not she was harm in the alleged assault.

Danish Minister of Environment Magnus Heunicke mentioned the incident shocked the Prime Minister and people who are carefully related along with her.

“Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen was right now assaulted and crushed by a man on Kultorvet in Copenhagen.
