Indian actor Mithun Chakraborty hospitalised in Kolkata

He was admitted to the Apollo Hospital, Kolkata.
Though a number of media studies had claimed Chakraborty had complained of chest ache, as per IBNS, he was taken to the hospital for a “routine verify up”.

Chakraborty, a National Award-winning actor, was busy capturing for Bengali movie Shastri alongside senior actress Debasree Roy. The two are working collectively in a movie after 14 years.

The 73-year-old actor was not too long ago honoured with Padma Bhushan, which is the third-highest civilian award given by the Government of India.
