Sada Tanseeq: India-Saudi Arabia joint military exercise commences in Rajasthan
2 min readThe inaugural version of India-Saudi Arabia Joint Military Exercise ‘Sada Tanseeq’ commenced on Monday (January 29, 2024) at Mahajan area in Rajasthan.
The exercise is scheduled to be carried out from January 29 to February 10.
“The Saudi Arabian contingent comprising 45 personnel is being represented by Royal Saudi Land Forces. The Indian Army contingent additionally comprising 45 personnel is being represented by a Battalion from the Brigade of the Guards (Mechanised Infantry),” learn a press release issued by the Indian authorities.
Aim of the exercise is to coach troops of each side for Joint Operations in Semi Desert terrain underneath Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.
The exercise will allow each side to share their greatest practices in the techniques, methods and procedures of conducting operations in the sub-conventional area. It will facilitate creating interoperability, bonhomie and camaraderie between troops from each side.
The exercise will contain the Establishment of a Mobile Vehicle Check Post, Cordon & Search Operation, House Intervention Drill, Reflex Shooting, Slithering and Sniper Firing.
The Exercise will present a chance for each the contingents to strengthen their bond.
It will act as a platform to realize shared safety goals, improve the extent of defence cooperation and foster bilateral relations between the 2 pleasant nations.
