According to the ICA, below Singapore measures “to fight cash laundering and terrorism financing, travellers are required by legislation to submit a full and correct report declaration if they’re getting into or leaving Singapore carrying a complete worth of Physical Currency and Bearer Negotiable Instruments (CBNI) exceeding S$20,000 (or its equal in international currency)”.

The ICA knowledgeable the general public: “From 13 May 2024, 0000hrs, all travellers should submit CBNI declarations electronically by https://www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/at-our-checkpoints/for-travellers/CBNI. Travellers can accomplish that as much as 72 hours earlier than [their] arrival into or departure from Singapore. This replaces the paper-based CBNI declaration that travellers had been required to submit at our checkpoints beforehand.”
