Three injured in Gare de Lyon, suspect detained

At least three individuals had been injured in a stabbing assault at Gare de Lyon railway station in southeastern Paris on Saturday (February 3, 2024).
A suspect in the incident has been taken into custody.
One of the individuals has been critically injured in the assault.
Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin poste don X: “This morning at Gare de Lyon, a person injured 3 individuals with a knife earlier than being arrested. One particular person is critically injured.”
“Two others are extra frivolously. They had been taken care of by the emergency providers,” he stated.
“Thank you to those that restrained the perpetrator of this insufferable act,” the Minister stated.
Paris has witnessed a number of knife assaults in current months.
