Several world leaders have condoled the death of Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash and expressed solidarity with the individuals of the nation.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan posted on X: “I pray that God Almighty has mercy on my expensive colleague, my brother, and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Ibrahim Reisi, who we realized sadly handed away in a helicopter crash.”

Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif posted: “Pakistan had the pleasure of internet hosting President Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian on a historic go to, lower than a month in the past. They had been good associates of Pakistan. Pakistan will observe a day of mourning and the flag will fly at half mast as a mark of respect for President Raisi and his companions and in solidarity with Brotherly Iran.”

Indian PM Narendra Modi wrote: “Deeply saddened and shocked by the tragic demise of Dr. Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. His contribution to strengthening India-Iran bilateral relationship will at all times be remembered. My heartfelt condolences to his household and the individuals of Iran.”

In his publish on X, United Arab Emirates President bin Zayed Al Nahyan wrote: “I lengthen my deepest condolences to the Iranian authorities and other people over the passing of President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and people accompanying them following a tragic accident. We pray that God grants them everlasting relaxation and we lengthen our heartfelt sympathies to their households. The UAE stands in solidarity with Iran at this tough time.”

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian died after the helicopter in which they had been travelling crashed in a dense forest space in East Azerbaijan on Sunday, native media reviews mentioned.

On Monday morning, it was introduced that every one the passengers of the crashed helicopter had been useless, reported Mehr information company.

Head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) Pirhossein Kolivand earlier in the day mentioned the spot the place the helicopter crash had been positioned.

There was no signal of surviving passengers, he advised the information company.

A complete of 9 individuals, together with a provincial governor, had been on board when the plane went down in northern Iran’s East Azerbaijan province, reported Al Jazeera. They all are believed to be useless, it mentioned.
