Manish Agrawal, President of Finance at Chennai-based Equitas Small Finance Bank, has resigned just one month after assuming the role.

In a letter submitted to the bank’s Chief People Officer, Agrawal attributed his immediate departure to personal circumstances. The announcement was formally disclosed through exchange filings.

The bank has not yet provided a response to inquiries from businessline regarding this development.

Agrawal, a Chartered Accountant with 27 years of industry experience, was recruited to bolster the institution’s financial governance and strategic planning. His professional background includes leadership positions in banking finance at Kotak Mahindra Bank, along with prior tenures at ING Vysya Bank and PwC.

Equitas Small Finance Bank shares concluded trading at ₹64.29 on the National Stock Exchange, reflecting a decline of ₹1.32 (2.01%).
