Sundaram Home Finance, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sundaram Finance, has outlined ambitious expansion plans for its Emerging Business (EB) segment, with targets to establish 100 EB branches by the conclusion of this fiscal year. The company also aims to significantly increase its EB disbursements, targeting approximately ₹500 crore for FY26.
The housing finance firm has methodically expanded its EB network to nearly 50 branches over three years, according to an official statement.
“During our initial EB phase, we concentrated on understanding market dynamics in smaller Tamil Nadu towns. With 50 operational branches, we’ve enhanced our understanding of this customer segment and are now positioned for accelerated growth beyond our home state,” stated D. Lakshminarayanan, Managing Director of Sundaram Home Finance. “Our current expansion covers Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka, while we continue strengthening presence in select Tier 3-4 locations within Tamil Nadu.”
Lakshminarayanan further noted: “This expansion phase involves doubling our branch network within twelve months from our initial 50 branches. Our roadmap includes reaching 100 EB branches by March 2026, with significant network growth planned outside Tamil Nadu.”
The company has extended its reach to emerging markets including Pattukottai, Sulur, Thuraiyur, and Chidambaram in Tamil Nadu. Beyond state borders, it has established new branches in Andhra Pradesh’s Jaggaihapet, Puni and Prodattur, as well as Karnataka’s Udupi, Hospet and Chitradurga.
