Bank of India (BOI) launched a dedicated Strategic Business Branch (SBB) focusing on digital and partnership‑driven financing such as Pool Buyout, Co‑Lending, TReDS (Trade Receivables Discounting System) and Supply Chain Finance at Nariman Point, Mumbai.
Ravi Shankar, General Manager, Digital Lending Department, BOI, said,”The launch of the SBB marks a major advance in strengthening our partnership‑based lending ecosystem.
“By consolidating these strategic business lines under a specialised branch, we aim to improve scalability, portfolio monitoring and operational efficiency while meeting the changing financing needs of corporates.”
BOI added that the specialised branch will act as a centre of excellence for partnership‑led financing, backing the Bank’s aim of sustainable business growth while upholding strong governance and risk controls.
