GMA Launches ‘Ghaziabad Entrepreneurship Mission’ to Empower Youth Towards Business Leadership

Ghaziabad Management Association Launches Entrepreneur Development Program

September 25, 2025

The Ghaziabad Management Association (GMA), a prominent regional business organization, has unveiled the Ghaziabad Entrepreneurship Mission—a strategic effort to cultivate emerging business talent among students from local colleges and institutions.

The initiative was inaugurated at GMA’s office, with representatives from 14 leading Ghaziabad educational institutions in attendance. These colleges will collaborate to engage students and promote participation in the program.

GMA President Dr. T.R. Pandey and General Secretary Mr. Rahul Agarwal emphasized the association’s 45-year history of advancing entrepreneurship and economic growth. They framed the mission as a continuation of GMA’s dedication to empowering youth through mentorship, skill development, and access to resources.

To execute this vision, GMA has teamed with SkillingYou, an edtech startup specializing in entrepreneurial training, particularly for rural and first-generation founders. SkillingYou currently runs similar programs in Saharanpur, Varanasi, Bijnor, and Ghaziabad.

During the launch, SkillingYou founder Praveen Kumar Rajbhar outlined the program’s structure. Interested students will register via the SkillingYou App and take a Business Aptitude Test evaluating their entrepreneurial mindset, financial literacy, problem-solving skills, and market awareness.

The top 100 applicants will then undergo a six-month hybrid training program covering practical topics such as business ideation, marketing, legal compliance, and funding strategies. Graduates will receive certification and ongoing mentorship.

Participating students will also gain guided access to government funding schemes like PMEGP, PM Mudra Yojana, and Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana, alongside connections to GMA’s network of industry leaders and investors.

GMA acknowledged the support of college representatives and encouraged them to drive student engagement. Educational institutions will act as awareness partners, helping identify candidates poised to transition from students to entrepreneurs.

Applications remain open via the SkillingYou App until October 10, 2025.
